It was a great honor for Leonora Gregory-Collura to meet the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia, Judy Guichon, during the reception held in her honor by the District of Sechelt earlier this week. Ms. Gregory-Collura was introduced to Lieutenant Governor, Judy Guichon in 2013 at Government House when she was honored with the British Columbia Community Achievement AWARD. On this special occasion this week, her Honor was visiting the Sunshine Coast as part of her mandate to visit the communities around British Columbia. She shared her own personal stories of family, purpose, community, love and contribution to society. Leonora Gregory-Collura husband Charlie Collura also had the opportunity to speak with Mayor Milne and to share the advances made with the ANCA World Autism Festival (our organisation is based on the Sunshine Coast), as well as future projects, partnerships and contributions with their local community on the Sunshine Coast.
