Naturally Autistic® ANCA® – Autistic People, People First. Autistic people speak for themselves. Via multimedia presentation and live interaction autistic people share their past experiences and how they view themselves in society versus how they believe society views them.
Participants will gain first hand information about what it is like to be autistic in the various environments such as school, social/recreational and in the work place.
Speaking engagement Goals/objectives:
1. Through the multimedia presentation, an opportunity is provided to view what autistic individuals “can do” rather than what they cannot do.
2. Participants gain an understanding of how autistic individuals communicate effectively within a group environment exemplifying what can be successfully achieved when naturally supported and bridged into society.
3. Participants will gain first hand information about what it is like to be autistic in the various environments such as school, social/recreational and in the workplace.
